Michael van dusen
Mike Van Dusen had a varied and diverse background before deciding to pursue a career in law. He worked in surveying on the LG2 Hydro project; as a restaurant manager; as a part-time French teacher; and as an editor for the Canadian Press before attending Ottawa University for both his undergraduate degree in Communications and his LLB. Mike articled for a multi-service law firm in Ottawa and spent time in the family courts, criminal courts, and as a part-time member of the former Rental Housing Tribunal, all before narrowing his focus to insurance law.

Focusing primarily on his insurance practice, the rural location of the office helps clients avoid the hassles of downtown traffic, and allows the firm to provide experienced legal services at a reasonable price. Mike has served on a number of charitable boards and organizations, and was the joint recipient of the Gordon F. Mike practices in both English and French and has appeared in all levels of both the Provincial and Federal Courts.
