Alpha biography entry portal

Students create an Alphabiography all about them! This is an A-B-C book just like you read when you were little! Using each letter of the alphabet, they will create a sentence that uses at least one word beginning with each letter of the alphabet.

I collect and hold this project until the end of the school year. I give it back on the last day of school. It is fun for the students to look back and see how they have grown and changed over the year. Students use the letters of the alphabet to describe significant life events and interests. They will also apply summarizing skills to their entries and assess their entries using a checklist.
